Step 1

Once being cut to exact measurement, the bars are introduced into the furnace for heating. Upon reaching the specified temperature, they are introduced into the rolling machine to form the spring.


Step 2

The temperature of the spring is checked before submerging it in oil.


Step 3

Once submerged in oil, this step guarantees that the treatment applied to each spring is the most appropriate.  Once slightly cooled, the springs are introduced into the tempering furnace with a residual temperature.


Step 4

This step consists of the flattening of the springs’ bases.  The first springs of each batch are pressure-tested to ensure that they maintain the same properties while working, that they do not lose height, and that they fulfill the client’s requirements.


Step 5

Once the springs fulfill the functional requirements stipulated by the client, the sharp edges are eliminated, and after that, springs are shot-blasting as needed to then be submitted to a nondestructive trial by means of the humid method of magnetic particles.  After being demagnetized, the springs are submitted to the shot-peening process which gives tension to the surface and increases livespan by increasing fatigue resistance and preventing rupture due to corrosion under pressure.


Step 6

Before being painted, the springs are tested to make sure that they fullfill the requirements of the client.  If necessary they are classified by the height that they reach upon the application of tare force.


Step 7

Once the springs are painted, they are identified according to the stipulations of the client, and if necesary, a Chasse testing is performed
